Pirates of the Caribbean Movies

The Pirates of the Caribbean movies series (Pirates) tells the tale of Captain Jack Sparrow, a wily rogue who can never seem to stay out of trouble. In this five-part series, Johnny Depp plays Sparrow as he travels from his small English town to the Caribbean on a quest for treasure.

Going from one adventure to another, he meets up with various characters, including Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who help him on his journey. The first installment in this franchise was released in 2003 and was considered both a commercial and critical success.

It is a great pleasure to present this new movie in this collection. After watching these movies, you will feel the happiness you cannot bear. Pirates of the Caribbean movies are very popular worldwide, especially with the American people. The movie has five series as follows;

 1. The Curse of the Black Pearl of 2003 

After years of exile, a black-hearted pirate named Barbossa leads a mutiny against Jack Sparrow’s captain. The curse is placed on the ship, and Barbossa and crew are doomed to live forever as the undead. 

From Walt Disney Pictures comes “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” an action-packed adventure comedy starring Johnny Depp as the wily Capt. Jack Sparrow must join forces with a former enemy, Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), in an epic battle against ruthless pirate hunter Bootstrap Bill Topper (Orlando Bloom) and his bloodthirsty crew. 

In addition to Depp, Gore Verbinski directs a stellar cast that includes;

  • Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann
  • Jack Davenport plays her father, and Governor Weatherby Swann
  • Jonathan Pryce plays Commodore Norrington
  • Bill Nighy portrays Davy Jones, who leads an underwater army of lost sailors trapped in a watery world beyond saving.

 2. Dead Man’s Chest 

The Dead Man’s Chest is a 2006 American fantasy swashbuckler film and the second installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, directed by Gore Verbinski and released in the United States July 7.

It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, written by Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio, stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy, Jack Davenport, Jonathan Pryce, and Naomie Harris. 

The film takes place shortly after the previous installment as events lead up to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) must face Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) while simultaneously attempting to avoid his debt to Davy Jones becoming due. 

The story introduces undead monkeys known as Kraken that invade pirate ships and turn their crews into these vicious beasts. The film was shot back-to-back with its sequel, At World’s End.

 3. At World’s End of 2007

In Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Captain Jack Sparrow is forced to choose between becoming a hero or a villain in an epic battle against the wicked Davy Jones and his crew of ghost sailors.

With Will Turner aboard the Flying Dutchman and his beloved Elizabeth at Death’s door, only one thing stands in Jack’s way of rescuing them both – an army of undead sailors seeking revenge against him. Warring empires battle for rule. Past rides into the present. Lives hang in the balance as our heroes fight their greatest fear – death itself. 

 4. On Stranger Tides

Stranger Tides is the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series and a sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

The film was released across Australia on July 12, 2011, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film received generally negative reviews from critics but was a box office success, becoming the third highest-grossing film of 2011 and one of the most profitable films ever made.

The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has provided some of the best entertainment. From the ghostly pirates to the errant pirate captain, “On Stranger Tides” is full of adventure. In this latest installment, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) accidentally releases an undead pirate hunter (Brenton Thwaites) from his tomb, who then kidnaps a woman who possesses a mermaid’s tear.

Unbeknownst to Sparrow, this tear has value among a group of ancient hunters called The Order. When he learns that his former crewmates are hunting him, Sparrow sets out on another epic adventure to stop them in their quest for immortality. 

 5. Dead Men Tell No Tales 

In “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” Captain Jack Sparrow finds himself in a race against time after he learns his nemesis, Captain Salazar, is after the Trident of Poseidon. Jack must find the Trident before Salazar does in order to prevent him from destroying every soul on the seas and getting revenge on Jack. 

The legendary sword is also sought by Carina Smyth, an astronomer who is part of Captain Barbossa’s crew. She has taken it upon herself to save Jack from Salazar but may be equally interested in saving herself from being eaten by him. Their quest ultimately leads them to a location that may hold the key to finding Captain Jack Sparrow himself: a pirate who has been trapped in a nightmare for decades and must be convinced if he’s ever going to lift his curse.
